How Ten Readiness Exams Carried Michael Through a Brutal NCLEX
By the NurseJames team
I realized that I passed every single readiness exam, so I told myself, “If I passed all ten, I can pass this too.”
I have been part of this review class for three full cycles, and that alone shows how highly satisfied I am with their program. Every cycle strengthened my foundation, sharpened my clinical judgment, and rebuilt my confidence, especially during a time when delays and issues with my school made my NCLEX journey emotionally draining. I chose to stay enrolled because I wanted to be fully prepared and take the NCLEX in one attempt. I didn’t want to go through the same anxiety and uncertainty again, and this review class became my safe and steady anchor.
When I took my school’s exit exams, the comprehensive exam, CAT, and written/oral exams, I passed all of them in one take. I’m not saying this to brag, but to acknowledge how much the program helped me. I was the only one in my cohort who passed all components on the first try, while many of my classmates needed multiple attempts. For me, that was already a huge achievement, and a clear sign that the review class truly prepared me.
During my NCLEX exam, I honestly felt like the questions were extremely hard. I doubted myself, and at some points I felt like I was just guessing. But then I remembered something important: NurseJames has 10 readiness exams and I made sure to finish all of them. I realized that I passed every single readiness exam, so I told myself, “If I passed all ten, I can pass this too.” That reminder grounded me, calmed me, and helped me push through the exam with confidence.
Sir James and all the coaches have been consistent, supportive, and genuinely invested in our success. Their teaching style, motivation, and structured approach gave me the confidence I needed, not just to pass exams, but to believe in myself. I am deeply thankful and grateful for everything they have done for me. This review class didn’t just prepare me academically; it helped me stay grounded, focused, and ready for the NCLEX.
May God hold every step we take and may His blessings surround everything ahead for all of us.
